Meta Quest 3S is a reduced version of Meta Quest 3, keeping the same configuration, reducing resolution and using Fresnel lens to reduce product cost so that more people can access VR. Quest 3S can meet all the existing functions of Meta Quest 3 and use the same game application store on Meta Store to satisfy users’ needs.
Using Fresnel lens
Quest 3S glasses will use Fresnel lenses, the lens model we saw on Meta Quest 2 glasses with a resolution of 1,832 × 1,920 pixels for each eye. It is not too surprising that this is a shortened version of Quest 3, using this type of lens will help reduce the price quite a bit.
