“It Takes Two” is a cooperative adventure and puzzle-solving game developed by Hazelight Studios and published by Electronic Arts. The game won three awards at The Game Awards and was released on the Nintendo platform on November 4, 2022.
The storyline follows May and Cody, a couple struggling with their marriage. They are transformed into puppets and must embark on an adventure together to find a way back to being human. Throughout their journey, they begin to understand and appreciate each other more, recognizing the values and emotions that have been lost amidst their busy daily lives.
Because it’s a highly interactive game, each player will use half of the screen to control their character and collaborate. Each player selects a character and completes tasks together to overcome challenges and solve puzzles in diverse and richly detailed maps.
Each character has unique abilities and unique support tools to use during the adventure. The game combines action-packed elements with creative puzzle-solving, creating a unique and engaging experience for both players.
